I woke up to very strange dreams. I had a another series after waking up and trying to back to sleep again. I remember waking up from one with three distinct perspectives in my mind, as though I was coming out of three different things at once, but I can’t recall at all the context or what they were. It didn’t feel too significant in terms of content, so I didn’t feel the urge to rush to record any of it or try to unearth more of it.

I listened to an excellent Forrest Knutson video on the most powerful form of meditation which focuses on Heart Rate Variability Resonant Breathing. Apparently it’s the fundamental change which helps bring one towards deep meditations. I didn’t realize he has an app for it and I’m looking forward to trying it. The essence of the method is you’re essentially learning to take fewer and fewer breaths per minute, without pausing, while keeping your body very still, and noticing the four signs your body is actually making it into a deep state.
